MXL Pista is the digital dashboard of AiM with an integrated data logger having an 8 MB flash memory. It has been produced for the application in cars and bikes used for racing.
Alarm lighting MXL
has inputs for rpm, speed, lap times, lateral acceleration, battery voltage and 8 freely configurable analogue inputs with a sampling rate up to 500 Hz. Additionally up to 64 channels can be transferred, recorded and partly shown by the CAN-Bus or with a RS 232 from the control unit.
The Version
AiM MXL Pista R8 has unlike the standard version no RS 232 interface. Instead it has the possibility, to operate the display sites- and functions over external buttons.
The waterproof (IP 65) aluminum box is very stabile and the connectors on the back of the device are locked vibration-isolated. The display illumination is green with a switch for background illumination.
